What is Artificial Intelligence?


Hey Folks,

Nowadays you may have come across words like Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML). So what actually is AI & ML? Does Artificial Intelligence mean Apple Siri? or Google Assistance? is it Samsung Bixby?

These days many MNC and big companies are using Artificial Intelligence to reduce the manpower and high availability to answers the audience's requirements and give them the appropriate response at the same time.

Lets first see what actually is Artificial Intelligence and understand how does it work.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a department of computer science that targets to permeate software with the power to study its environment using either predefined rules and search algorithms, or standard acknowledging machine learning models, and then make decisions based on those acknowledging or analyses .

Let see what it actually means...

So Artificial intelligence (AI) is a part of Data Science, which is a part of Computer Science. It is nothing but a software that takes the appropriate decisions according to the raw Data, Information, and situation which are written in the form of an algorithm. This algorithm is stored in its Database. When a user runes the software and gives some task the software first checks into its database and depending upon your task it shows you the appropriate result.

Still so much confusing Okay let's see through some example:

User to Software: Hello AI
Software to User: Hello $USER_NAME #This is a variable name it gets changed as users get changed

Now, let's check with some Complicated example:

User: Hello AI
#Software gets activate
Software: Hi $USER_NAME
User: Whats today's day and what did I do last year the same day
#Now here the data and activity you did last year so the same day is been stored into the database of the software it will go and check the database and answer you accordingly.
#For eg: today is 25 December and today is Christmas eve.
Software: Today is Christmas, here are some photos from your gallery from last year the same day. Also, I noticed that you cut a cake and wished everyone for the Christmas festival. Merry Christmas $USER_NAME
#The software collected all the data for the same date and replied back as if some person is replying to you back.

Machine learning is an implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) that offers Software the capability to  improve and automatically learn from user experience without being manually programmed. Machine learning emphasizes on the development of softwares that can access data and use it to learn for themselves depending to the situation.

What is the Algorithm?

An algorithm is a method or pattern for solving a problem, based on conductance, arrangement of determined actions. A small method that solves a repeated problem.
