If you look around the world many projects are going on. You may have a question what is a project? Why do we want to know this? I was supposed to read about the monitoring. How is this related to the project?

Well, hold on to your breath...! We will have a look at all your questions soon.

So, What is a PROJECT?

A project is the effort to create or modify a specific product or service. We can also say projects are something where people are implementing activities to bring changes into achieving a certain goal.

I am sure we all got an idea about the project and project goals.

Which everyone is trying to achieve. So we can see all the projects have some goals, have some activities, they have a start point and they have endpoints.

So, during the point of implementation, all these activities which are being implemented need to be monitored.

Why need to be monitored?

Monitoring ensures that all planned activities are being implemented and are achieving the intended results. if they are not implemented in the right way the question is why and how corrective action is to be taken.

To keep track of such activities and achieve the desired goal monitoring came into the era.

What is Monitoring:

Monitoring is the regular observing and recording of activities taking place in a project or program.
It is a process of continuously gathering information on all aspects of the project.

What is Observability:

Observability is the ability to measure a system’s current state or the internal states of a system by examining its outputs or we can say the data it generates, such as logs, metrics, and traces.

What is Planning:

Planning may be defined or deciding in advance what steps to be done in the future to reach the goal.

It is also known as requirements gathering in SDLC(Software Development Life Cycle) where business analyst collects the requirements from clients/customers and documents the requirements which are called BRS( Business requirement specification)

What is evaluation?

The act or a process that critically examines a program is evaluating a situation that requires careful analysis: determination of the value, nature, character, or quality of something or someone what’s your evaluation of her writing ability.
