What is Proactive monitoring & Reactive monitoring?

Proactive monitoring is something that is continuously searching for indications about the problems is about to happen whereas Reactive monitoring alerts or detects failures after something goes wrong.

Proactive monitoring alerts IT administrators or system administrators to potential issues well before the issue becomes a failure whereas Reactive monitoring is carried out or sends notifications when an incident has occurred.

Resource monitoring is something that helps us to manage the inventories of our resources. resources could be anything like Human resources, material resources, Intellectual resources, financial resources and so on.

Availability monitoring helps us to ensure about the servers are always up and running it also indicates adverse situations by checking the uptime of our IT infrastructure components like servers and applications and it notifies the administrator about the problems before they impact on business.
