I am assuming you all are having basic knowledge of Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation and how they work.

So, let’s back to today's topics of Monitoring…!!! as of now, we all know about monitoring and its importance but now it's the time to level up you all into the next steps towards a high-level understanding of monitoring.

  • Do they have any thermometer to monitor a server? 
  • How servers are down will be reported for human intervention?

So, whenever we are receiving alerts about servers being down defiantly there is some technique or software which is present in between to help us to receive such monitoring alerts about the servers. Basically, those techniques or software are known as tools.

So, let's learn about those tools. Here in the market, there are lots of tools available for monitoring some are free, and some are paid.

  2. Enterprise monitoring tools.

Enterprise monitoring tools are those tools that are available to use for monitoring the servers and operations but with some fees.

They are not free and as they are not free means they are having some additional functionalities better than open-source monitoring tools.

Though some of the extra functionalities which are present in enterprise tools are available in the open-source tools for that we need to configure and we need to put some extra effort to use those functionalities for free.

So, it is always recommended to pay some amount of fees to save time to utilize our vim for more worthwhile attributions.
